Building shared Access Point (BDC or SAP)
This kit is used to create the Shared Access Point (SAP) at the foot of the building. The following equipment must be installed:
- A Building Distribution Cabinet (BDC) that contains all of the bers from the building operator’s riser cable with connectors
on the ends. - A storage cabinet that contains all of the bers from the other operators with connectors on the ends or with raw ends.
These cabinets are in the standard format and are compatible
with all operators. They are delivered with factory-mounted SC/APC connectors with transparent caps for easy laser testing.
