Fiber optic cable box outlet
Omelcom’s fiber optic cable box outlet is a double wall outlet that can be flush mounted in the living room, close to the TV. It has SC/APC and RJ45 Cat 6a STP connectors.
It is used to connect the fiber optic cable box (FTTH) in the living room and the home network cabinet. The operator’s optical signal is carried by a fiber optic cable to the box; the signal generated by the box is sent back to the home network cabinet via a twisted-pair cable.
Omelcom’s push-pull fiber optic cables are delivered with factory-installed connectors at both ends (“duopreco”). One of the connectors is delivered in its preassembled plastic housing to save space. It comes protected and integrated into a push-through head so that it can be pushed through the cable sheath. Once the cable comes out of the end of the sheath, the connector is assembled. It can be installed on the OTO end or the home network cabinet end.
And, if you are looking for a way to reduce the number of RJ45 jacks or get more out of your existing RJ45 jacks, the Omelcom Gbit box kit lets you combine the Gbit Ethernet and IP telephone signals in the same wall outlet.
